Flamingos
This is a quite large flamingo squishmallow! He is very squashed in this image because I keep all my flamingo plushies in my shelves, and he only fits if you squash him down. Because of this, I did not want to take him down like I did the rest for photographing. This guy was purchased at a Costco!
A much smaller flamingo squishmallow! I would compare him to the size of a honeydew melon (But much squishier, unless you have a
very
old honeydew melon). I believe this was purchased at a Kroger.
A flamingo plushie one might find from a zoo! I say this, because I got this on my birthday in 2020, where I "adopted" a flamingo from the zoo. How it works, if I remember correctly, is essentially you are sponsoring a flamingo and the money goes to their care and wellbeing. They send you a nice pamphlet with the information on the one you adopted, and a flamingo plushie comes with it! Unfortunately, I lost my pamphlet in rough circumstances, so it will not be featured in this collection.
This was another birthday present a different year! It is quite a silly guy, I believe the body is covered in the same material one would make a loofa out of? I am not quite sure the store's decision but this plushie is still my darling dearest, even if it is quite odd.
A flamingo with a nice straw hat! This one is actually quite soft, I got it on clearance at a Joann's as they were removing their summer collections. I used to have a second identical one, but I also lost it through rough circumstances.
This darling is a flamingo plushie from the brand "Cloud Island" and was an Xmas present from a friend! I saw this flamingo plushie online, and become head over heels instantly and was planning to buy it if I got any Xmas money (as I had no job), but I was very lucky to get it for Xmas instead! It's very adorable, and about 12 inches tall if I recall correctly.
This one is related to the previous flamingo plushie, as it comes from the baby lovie version from Cloud Island! Alas, the tiny plushie fell off the baby blanket, and I decided to just keep it separate instead of reattach it! I like to imagine this is the chick of my adult one. Purchased from Target.
I don't recall what brand this is, but I do recall that she was supposed to be much bigger! She came quite small though, but I love her all the same. She is also quite soft, and I believe also a baby toy.
A beanie baby flamingo plushie! I had become obsessed with this darling after seeing them online, but alas, was not able to find them! One day I was at an antique/junk store with a relative, and lo and behold, they were sitting there on a beanie baby shelf! I was not one to pass up such a fortunate opportunity and snatched them immediately for them to live with me.
This is essentially a normal fluff ball keychain with fake-leather flamingo head and feet attachments, but she is quite silly! I got her as a birthday present one year as well.
MY BEST FRIEND! Arguably my least-flamingo-like flamingo plushie in my collection, this is a Tootsie Footsie brand flamingo plushie, or as I like to call him, Mr. Flamingo. He used to be much pinker, and much fluffier, but I have slept with him nightly for the 3 years I've had him, so he has changed a bit, but as they say, to be loved is to be changed! All my flamingo plushies Except this one live on my shelf, as he cannot be both simultaneously on the shelf and in my arms. He is the most perfectly-shaped cuddle buddy, not too small nor too big, and he's so shaped for cuddling, I adore my little guy. Purchased from Walmart.
While I find the large sparkle eyes of Ty toys debatable, I did need this guy in my collection. He is actually one of the larger Ty plushies, and I do not have much to say about him. Purchased from Kroger.
A mother and her four flamingo chicks, what isn't to love! The mother actually has a zipper compartment to hold the babies, but I keep them out on display so I have no reason to use it at this moment. Purchased from Walmart.
This is actually an ornament, about the size of my hand, and is much harder than it appears! I got this little one out of the clearance bin in Joann's due to the seasons changing, and it was only a few dollars! Very convenient.
This is supposed to be an outside decoration, as the wind outside would blow his little feets and make him paddle, but I have him hanging in the corner of my room as a little watcher! I feel like this is a strange cross between a duck body and flamingo colour scheme, but I do not mind too much. This boy was lovingly hand crafted, and I actually got it at the same antique/junk shop I got the beanie baby flamingo at!
These very simple guys are very vaguely flamingo-shaped, but I cherish them like the rest of my flamingo plushies. I keep these in my stim toy drawer usually, as I do use them for stimming quite often, but I will likely move them to my plushie shelf. I do not remember where these were purchased.
Orbeez stress balls encased in flamingo flesh! Quite delightful if you ask me, these actually came in a pack of 6 but I gave two away, and only photographed 2 for demonstration purposed. They are quite fragile, so you cannot be aggressive in playing with them, but I do not mind too much. I do not remember where these were purchased.
A flamingo hat! Pardon the not-so-good picture, I did not have an available foam head to display it on, so it is strangely folded. This is one of my favorite hats, as I am not a hat person in any capacity, but I do wear this one on occasion. It is very soft, and the 3D beak is a nice bonus! I do not remember where these were purchased.
Flamingo ear defenders, that admittedly I do not use much anymore, on account of both getting many more ear piercings and not dealing with auditory overload as often. I keep them anyways because I could not simply get rid of them, and I am sure they will find their use again some day. I do not remember where these were purchased.
This darling actually glows a warm yellow light, and I got it as a birthday present as of 2023! She's very sweet, I keep her on my nightstand and use her for ambient lighting on occasion.
A squishmallow branded flamingo keychain, this is not the same character as the other squishmallow-branded flamingo plushies I have! As you see, it is a peachy-orange instead of pink like the rest of them. It does also have a different name, but I've long since lost their name tags. I usually keep this one hanging on my wall (as it has been photographed), but occasionally I wear it on a belt loop as an accessory. I do not remember where these were purchased.
This one is also Ty branded, which I shared some opinions on earlier, but it was a gift so who am I to complain. It is a small coin purse, which was accompanied by a larger flamingo purse, however I am no longer in possession of its larger counterpart. This one stays hanging on my wall all the time. Purchased at a Walgreens.
This is a perler bead craft I did that I found the pattern for somewhere online, but I decided to do it in the colours of a Lesser flamingo, because they look a little freaky and I dig it! I did not have the exact right colours, but I found the point got across nonetheless.
This is a perler flamingo coaster I made, that I do not use as a coaster, instead I have pinned to my wall, I also found this pattern online somewhere that I do not remember.
Possibly the tackiest accessory I own but don't wear (as it conflicts with my normal glasses), this one also stays hanging on my wall for the time being. It is so stupid and very uncomfortable to wear and I'm
obsessed
with it. I wish I could wear it more often, but I am not a contacts person. Bought at a Michaels.
This was a mini cross stitch kit I got as a gift, as I am a cross stitch enjoyer, and I completed in roughly an hour! This one also lives on my wall, but it likes to fall off often.
A very tiny flamingo painting I did! I had a very small canvas and thought "hm what could I do with such a comically small canvas" and the answer was paint a flamingo at the beach! Is it great? No not at all! Do I adore it? Absolutely.
This was one of those pre-made kits that you can buy at craft stores around Halloween time that comes with the worst paint and paint brushes known to man, but that would not stop me. I, a halloween enjoyer and flamingo enjoyer, could not pass up a cross between the two. Is this one well painted? Nope! But that means nothing to me, because this is not about skills, this is just about making flamingo crafts that mean the world to me.
I am not the type to carry bags out, but when I must, I always use a backpack over something like a purse! So it's perfect that I could find a flamingo themed backpack, because I must sport my favorite birds at all times.
This is a display pillow, you can tell because it's extremely uncomfortable and a horrible texture, so I do use it only for it's intended purpose (or as a last resort for sleeping), but I do not mind that much because well, it has flamingos on it! I'm actually not sure if I even bought this, it kind of feels like it spawned on my bed one day and I've just kept it.
A really simple flamingo notebook that I have yet to use, I just own it because it's cute and has flamingos! I believe I got this as a gift as well.
A very small flamingo notebook! Actually I have used this one, however it was at an extremely low point in my life, so I simply do not look at the pages anymore, and admire the pretty flamingos on the outside.
A flamingo notepad, and the pages inside are actually flamingo themed as well rather than a blank notepad (well, it's still blank, but you get the idea)! I keep this one on my nightstand or occasionally take it out, because those are the two places I usually need to make quick notes. I bought this at a dollar store.
This is not the greatest picture of these dice as I find them extremely difficult to take pictures of. They are light blue and translucent, filled with pink flamingo confetti, and all the numbers are flamingo themed. I bought these at a gaming store and they are my favorite and most-used dice.
This was a birthday present from this year (2023), and I think it is quite silly, but I do not mind because it was a gift! I have not used it yet as there are flamingo cups I use much more, but I'm sure it will be much more convenient for going out than the next cups I will show you.
MY FAVORITE CUPS OF ALL TIME. I literally barely use any other cup, if I have a drink that needs a cup it is going in these cups or it is going in nothing. They are my favorite cups of all time, and they actually have a small story. The second from the left, I originally had it as I had found it at a thrift store all on its lonesome. However, one day, the lid disappeared! Ruined, I turned to the internet to see if I could find anything about these cups. Much to my delight, I not only found the same one I owned, I found it in a pack of 4 with three more flamingo cups! Delighted, I ordered as soon as I could, and now I am never out of flamingo cups.
A flamingo-shaped silicon candy mold that I have actually never used once. I really should some time, I might make flamingo chocolates with it. I got this at Joanns.
