- Gochujang Cheesy Rice balls
- The above link takes you to a site that requires you to make an account to view the recipe. I hate when websites do this, so I've included the recipe in the dropdown below. The reason I kept the link is to link back to the original person, even if I dislike the website they used.

Gochujang Cheesy Rice Balls recipe
Makes 2 servings
Ingredients
Rice balls:
- White rice
- Mozzarella cheese
- Flavourless Oil
- Nori sheets
Sauce:
- 1 tsp - Sesame Oil
- 1 - Garlic clove
- 1 tbsp - Gochujang
- 1 tsp - Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp - Honey
Instructions
- Make a rice ball using a mold or your hands. Place a block of cheese between the two layers of rice and form until the rice ball is solid.
- In a pan over medium low heat, drizzle some neutral oil in the pan and pan fry the rice ball. Pan fry until each side is slightly golden and crispy.
- Remove the rice balls from the pan.
- In the same pan, add sesame oil and garlic. Sauté the garlic until fragrant (~60 seconds).
- Lower the heat to low and add the gochujang, soy sauce, and honey into the pan.
- Allow for the sauce to reduce until it has slightly thickened (~2-3 minutes).
- Place the pan-fried rice balls back into the sauce and coat each side evenly.
- Remove the rice balls from the pan.
- Wrap the rice ball in a sheet of seaweed and enjoy!
- Budget pad thai
- I don't know if this is close to authentic, that's just the name I found the recipe under. It's just decently easy and cheap lol.

Budget pad thai recipe
Makes one serving
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp - Peanut butter
- 1 tbsp - Chili Garlic Sauce
- 1 tbsp - Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp - Brown Sugar
- 1 pack - Instant Ramen
- 1 Green Onion, sliced. Optional
Instructions
- Combine peanut butter, chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar in a bowl until you get a smooth paste.
- Boil small pot of water. Once boiling, take 1/4 cup of the water and stir into peanut-chili paste until it's a smooth sauce.
- Add ramen noodles to water, cook until softened. Discard (or keep for later) seasoning packet.
- Drain noodles, then return to pot with heat off.
- Pour sauce over noodles, stir to combine. Top with green onions if you so desire, and serve immediately.
- Orange chicken
- The sauce is a little finnicky, but play around with it, you'll get it somewhere you like. This is just the recipe that works for me.

Orange Chicken recipe
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients
Sauce
- 1/3 cup - Fresh squeezed orange juice
- 2 tsp - Finely minced orange zest
- 3 tbsp - Soy Sauce or Tamari
- 1/2 to 1 tsp - Chili Garlic Sauce
- 2 tbsp - Brown Sugar
- 2 - Minced Garlic Cloves
- 1 tbsp - Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1/4 cup - Water
- 1 1/2 tbsp - Corn Starch
Chicken
- 2lbs - Boneless, Skinless, Chicken Breast. Cut into ~2 inch cubes
- 1 tsp - Salt
- 2 tbsp - Olive Oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Toss chicken breast pieces with salt and olive oil and arrange on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes on center rack, or until chicken is cooked through.
- While chicken is baking, make sauce.
- In small bowl, combine corn starch and water to make slurry. Add all the sauce ingredients, including half of the slurry, bring to simmer. Simmer for 3-5 minutes, until sauce has thickened. Add more of the corn starch slurry if necessary.
- Pour sauce over cooked chicken and toss until fully coated. Serve over white rice.

Sushi Bake Recipe
Ingredients
Topping
- 3/4 cup - Kewpie mayo
- 3oz - Cream Cheese
- ~2 tbsp - Sriracha
- 1 tsp - Wasabi (I typically omit when I make)
- 2-3 Green Onions, sliced (I typically omit as well)
Rice
- 3 cups - White rice, cooked
- 1/3 cup - Rice vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp - Salt
- 3 tbsp - Sugar
Other
- Furikake (I use nori komi, but I've used others that work well)
- Kewpie Mayo
- Sriracha
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix rice, rice vinegar, salt, and sugar together.
- Shred (or chop finely) your imitation crab.
- In separate bowl, mix imitation crab, kewpie mayo, cream cheese, sriracha, wasabi, and green onion. Mix well.
- In a 9in x 13in pan, spread rice evenly. Add furikake evenly across the rice. Spread imitation crab mixture evenly on top of that. Add another even layer of furikake. Drizzle kewpie mayo and sriracha on top, as shown in picture below, or however you'd like.
- Broil on low for roughly 10 minutes, or until crispy on top
- Serve with seaweed squares
